The theme which unites our activities this term is “Water” – and where better to start than the seaside town of Prestatyn in beautiful North Wales?
Prestatyn was our jumping-off point to a range of local activities. The images below give a taste of the wonderful experiences we had during out time there.
The Great Orme
One of North Wales’ great natural beauty spots. See Wikipedia for details https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Orme)

Surf Snowdonia is North Wales’s brand new surf park – after an hour’s training, our youngsters were able to take to the surf and show off their skills.
Yes, it’s all about balance (and getting wet.)
Surf’s up – they were all brilliant – could have been doing it all their lives!
On the Beach
If you are by the sea, you’ve got to have a beach party, barbecue and sandcastle competition – great!
Well it was meant to be a sandcastle competition for youngsters – but some of the big people just couldn’t resist…
And here is the winning entry – yes someone really has put the car into castle! Great imagination and perseverance here.
And here is Jordan, our deserving winner with his prize of a bubble making kit .
Sun, sea, sand and smoke. Great teamwork delivers an open-air feast.
A perfect end to a perfect day…
